Ever since I stumbled upon Yugatech for some unknown reason, I've been following it ever since especially that it's owned by a Filipino (Cheers to Abeo Landres!). Every now and then, Yugatech hosts contests that boasts amazing prizes. The most recent contests I've joined include the BlackBerry-Yugatech Give-away, Show me WD win 500GB, and the Lenovo-Yugatech Laptop Give-away. The next contest is the Yugatech on Ovi 12 days of Christmas which I've won a consolation prize of either a Globe Tattoo 3G USB dongle or Php 500 Globe Load.

My Christmas Diet - Stomach's the Limit
Christmas Season is a holiday where we celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. It is also the time of the year where hearts are happy and everyone tends to become more generous. This Christmas gifts were given and received but the highlight for me this Christmas was the food.

Camera Wishlist: The Canon Powershot S95
I've always been a fan of photography and how this "art" captures the moment of our everyday lives. I've always wanted a camera that I could use but never got a decent one. The last one I had was from a brand I don't even remember which was worth Php 5,000. It can take nice pictures but for me it was never good enough. I wanted to have something which I can point and shoot anytime but with the capacity of a DSLR camera. In choosing one, the price will always be an issue as it must be practical.

UNDERSTANDING MENTAL ILLNESS: KEY CONCEPTS in Psychopharmacology and Psychobiology
There will be a seminar tomorrow, January 30, 2010, on Psychiatric Nursing. The seminar is organized by Mique International Conference and Event Planners(MICEP) in collaboration with the Philippine Nurses Association, Iloilo Chapter. MICEP is accredited by the PRC for giving continuing professional education(CPE) units until July 2012.
The full title of the seminar is: UNDERSTANDING MENTAL ILLNESS: KEY CONCEPTS in Psychopharmacology and Psychobiology - A Seminar Workshop for Nursing Students and New Professionals. The speaker is Dr. Norman Keltner, the famous author of the Psychiatric Nursing book.
The Seminar will be held at Sarabia Manor - Hotel and Convention Center. The seminar will start at 9 am but registrations will start as early as 7. It will end at around 5 pm. This is a nice opportunity because most of the seminars held by MICEP are held in Manila or Cebu. This is useful especially for graduate nurses and for those who want to be a psychiatric nurse.
Tickets are from Php950 for pre-registered/students and for on-site it's Php1500. More information can be found at their website at http://www.micep.net/.
I will describe how the seminar will go tomorrow after attending it. :-?

Basic Life Support
I am disappointed with where the certificates are going regarding the Basic Life Support Seminar. It has already been a month and still no sign of the certificate of attendance or certificate of completion ID card. What the hell is going on with it?
By the way, the seminar itself went fairly well and the hands-on were really hands-on. The only problem now is where are the certificates? I’m going to need it for the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Seminar this January in Iloilo City.
So please, CERTIFICATES, show yourself! :-?
