How to Check Your ATM Balance Online

Is it that time of the month where your salary is supposed to be in your ATM account or is it that time your parents sent your allowance through your ATM Savings account? Don't have time to go to the ATM machine to check if it's already in and only to find out it has not been credited yet? You don't have to worry about wasting your time checking if your money has already been credited to your ATM account, you can get online and spend less than a minute to check your ATM's actual balance.

If you're ATM's Bank is a member of BancNet, then here are a few easy steps to follow to check your card's balance.

1. Go to http://www.bancnetonline.com/BancnetWeb/goToMainPage.do and check if your bank is one of the members or take a look at the list below.

2. Click on your Bank's logo and you will be redirected to new page where you will need to agree to their terms and conditions regarding the use of BancNet Online. Click I Agree to move on.

3. The next page will show the kinds of transactions that you can do online. First and default transaction is the Balance Inquiry. Here is where it will be an advantage to check online rather than to go to an ATM and check it there yourself. This saves you precious time and money (for the fare).

You just need to enter the ATM Card Number which you can always find at the front of your ATM Card. Then you can select your Account Type (usually it's a Savings Account). You then put your PIN on the right side of the page. For security reasons, the numbers are juggled every time you enter this page and you need to click the onscreen keypad for you to enter your pin. This is more secure than typing it on the keyboard because most hackers can use a key logger. It is a program that records everything you press on your keyboard, character by character.

After entering your PIN, you can then  press on Submit and your balance will be shown to you.

There are other transactions available like Intrabank Fund Transfer, Interbank Fund Transfer, Checkbook Reorder, Transaction Logs, Payments, Mobile Banking, Registration and Change MPIN. You can explore these areas or you can leave them alone just to be on the safe side of things.

Now that is how you check your ATM Balance Online using BancNet's online services.
