Virus here, virus there, virus everywhere. Ever hate it when your USB containing all your important files gets infected by a virus? When all you wanted to do was to print your report and get on with your life? One common virus is where it hides the files on your USB without you knowing it. Good thing there's a way around this virus. Just check out the next steps:
1. Plug in your infected USB/hard drive into your computer taking care not to open the USB automatically.
2. Go to the Start Menu, type cmd in the search tab and open it.
3. Find the drive letter of your infected USB drive. For example it's F:. On the command prompt, type F: and press enter. The command prompt will now show the drive F:
4. Type the following in the command prompt: attrib -a(space)-s(space)-h(space)/s(space)/d *.* and press enter.
5. Now, check your device if your hidden files and folders have come back out.
